This Wanderbeutel is a little piece of art you can carry. The inspiration comes from Claude Monet’s water lilies, a fascination that began for the designer Sumit Roy back in 2013 when he first saw Monet’s paintings in Paris. Growing up in Bengal, Sumit always loved water flowers, and this bag is his tribute to that blend of Eastern memories and urban casual lifestyle. Each bag is individually hand-painted by Aditi Bala, a young girl currently doing her master’s, and produced ethically in Bengal, India. It’s a limited wearable art piece, each one unique and made with a lot of love.

To keep your Nymphéas Wanderbeutel in top shape, you can machine wash it on a gentle cycle, but be sure to avoid harsh detergents or any bleaching agents. For the best care and to maintain the color vibrancy over time, we recommend hand washing with mild soap. While the colors are designed to last, a gentle hand wash will keep them looking newer for longer. When ironing, turn the bag inside out and iron on the reverse side to protect the hand-painted design from direct heat.
